Welcome to Your Year-End Inventory!
As we kick off Q1, I find it essential to conduct an inventory before setting goals. Most of my clients are high achievers, and this process helps us reflect and prepare for a successful 2026.
Biggest Successes of 2025
Identify your major achievements from the past year.
Reflect on the steps, behaviors, and disciplines that led to these successes.
Consider which of these practices you want to carry into 2026.
Missed Opportunities
What proposals didn’t materialize?
Which deals fell through?
Reflect on any disciplines that faltered and time investments that didn’t yield returns.
Here’s the tough part: evaluate why each situation occurred. Rejection can be a teacher. Sometimes, we aren’t ready for certain opportunities, but other times, we may need to reassess our approach. If you can't identify any areas for improvement, there might be deeper issues that need addressing. As responsible leaders, we must recognize what we can change rather than attributing setbacks solely to external factors.
Values in Action
Where do your values show up in your behaviors and investments of time and resources?
Analyze whether your spending reflects your priorities. If you claim to value certain things but don’t invest in them, it might be time for a reassessment.
Consider setting goals around financial contributions and time commitments to better align your actions with your values.
If you’re struggling with this, a values realignment session could be beneficial.

Important Relationships
Who are the key people in your life?
Make a list of these individuals, both at work and at home, as well as those who provide a supportive space in between.
Evaluate how you can meet their needs this year, recognizing that adjustments may be necessary in other areas of your life.

Vision for 2026
What do you want for the upcoming year?
Who do you want to connect with more?
What behaviors and investments do you want to continue that your future self will appreciate?
I encourage my clients to set specific goals and conduct weekly evaluations in each of these five areas. Let’s align your inventory with these categories and create a strategic plan for a successful year, moving beyond mere resolutions to actionable objectives.

Five Categories for Goal Setting
Personal - Focus on yourself as an individual.
Professional - Consider your approach and direction at work.
Spiritual - Reflect on what brings you peace and grounding.
Physical - Evaluate the environments and external factors you invest in.
Financial - Examine where your needs and wants intersect with reality.
Let’s commit to being thoughtful and strategic about our time and intentions instead of overly optimistic with vague resolutions. There’s still time to join my 2026 Masterclass, where you’ll receive support and accountability in pursuing meaningful goals and navigating challenges. Remember, while we can’t always avoid tough situations, the right support and discipline can help us rise above and gain a clearer perspective.
